113 RDF graduate in logistics management

Sinhgad Technical Education Society–Rwanda trains 113 in logistics management. The Course of six months was conducted by Indian affiliated University Sinhgad Technical Education Society– Rwanda in partnership with Rwanda Defence Force. The graduation ceremony took place at RDF Combat Training Centre in Gatsibo District on 30 September 2016.

The University Coordinator, Mr Oswald Rudahigwa thanked the RDF for choosing the University to deliver the Logistics Management to RDF personnel capable of discharging their duties in Rwanda and abroad as Logisticians.

“The University will continue to produce practical and talented students capable of discharging their duties in various sectors. I am convinced that today’s completing students will do the same, building the nation and serving with humanity to the best of their ability especially in the RDF”, he underlined.

The Deputy Commandant of RDF Combat Training Centre, Col John Baptist Ngirowonsanga underscored that the Course will augment RDF logistical capability. “I have no doubt that the objectives of this course as highlighted by the Deputy Vice Chancellor Academics were attained and will augment RDF logistical capability in all theatres of operations”.

He reminded the Graduates that there are opportunities for Advanced Level Programme in Logistics Management for those who will exhibit high level performance and discipline.

The overall best performer students with Great Distinction, 2Lt Dickson Mateka said that the course was very important in handling logistics duties at RDF and in Peacekeeping Operations abroad. He disclosed that hardworking and Cooperation motivated his performance.

The Course that started in April 2016 at RDF Combat Training Centre is a culmination of Memorandum of Understanding signed between Ministry of Defence and Sinhgad Technical Education Society –Rwanda Campus.
