M Peace Plaza and Rwanda Foam owner passes on

Makuza Bertin who has been famous for his 30 years serving mattress industry, Rwanda Foam and new building in central Kigali, M Peace Plaza; passed away last night after he had suffered a sudden illness yesterday.

He worked up yesterday 2nd November 2016 as usual by the time he was carried by his driver, he felt ache and immediately taken to king Faisal Hospital and his death announced during last night.

The passing on of the businessman shocked many Rwandans, including officials who described him as a hardworking man who died too soon.

“Makuza Bertin leaves us very early, he has been a hard worker, inspiring man, humble with simplicity, big achievement,” said MP JMV Gatabazi on his Twitter handle.

The news about his death broke on Thursday morning, in an announcement described Makuza’s death at King Faisal Hospital Kigali, as untimely.
